Linda has advised:

  • Rachel MacGregor in a claim to the Human Rights Tribunal following a breach of confidentiality by her formal employer, Colin Craig MP, relating to a previous sexual harassment case. The process tested the efficacy and integrity of the confidential Human Rights Commission dispute resolution process.
  • Serco Asia Pacific on all proceedings following the allegation of organised fights at Mt. Eden Corrections Facility. The extremely high profile case held global reputational risk for Serco and wider implications for private sector businesses delivering public services in New Zealand.
  • Whanganui District Council on potential judicial review proceedings that threatened a proposed wastewater project. Linda advised council staff and councilors to ensure all decision making was inoculated from risk of review and to ensure that proper consultation processes were followed.
  • John Campbell on managing all aspects of his high profile exit from MediaWorks (TV3).
