Jenni is a partner in our intellectual property team. She helps clients identify and protect intellectual property such as trade marks, brand names, designs, domain names, patents and copyright.

Jenni advises a wide range of New Zealand companies, as well as overseas companies selling products and services in New Zealand. She also advises New Zealand start-ups that are beginning to develop their IP and establishing their brands overseas.

Jenni brings a global perspective to her work; she was previously an IP partner in the London office of a global law firm and is UK-qualified. She is experienced in all aspects of intellectual property rights. She can help you identify and register your IP and make sure you have the right to use it. She can also help you commercialise your IP through licensing or franchising agreements and advise you on the IP issues associated with buying or selling a business.

Jenni has many years’ experience in resolving intellectual property disputes. She can help you enforce your IP rights, or defend you if you are on the receiving end of a complaint. She is an experienced litigator who can act for you in court if necessary.

Jenni is a keen foodie who once ran a gourmet takeaway and coffee-roasting business on Waiheke Island.
