Arie is a member of our construction and major projects team. He advises clients on both the development and procurement of projects and the resolution of disputes that may arise during construction.

Arie works with principals, consultants, contractors and subcontractors. His experience includes advising government agencies, large education institutions, and major private sector contractors.

Arie can help with your construction project at the early stage of the procurement process. He is a specialist in alternative or complex procurement models, particularly design-and-build and early contractor involvement (ECI) contracts.

He can also work with you to develop strategies for negotiations and any disputes during projects, including around delay, disruption, and variations. In addition to early strategy advice, Arie regularly acts for clients in adjudication proceedings, negotiations, and mediation. The most value is obtained from addressing claims at an early stage.

Arie is a keen surf lifesaver and has held numerous governance roles with the Lyall Bay Surf Life Saving Club in Wellington.

Admission date: 2010
