Amy is a highly experienced property lawyer who brings real depth to our property team through her experience in-house, internationally and at top tier New Zealand firms.
She has extensive experience across all aspects of commercial property, taking transactions through from the due diligence, acquisition and funding stage through to development, leasing and disposal.
Specific areas of her practice and experience include: retail development and leasing; developer and investor transactions; social housing and regeneration; property finance.

- Acting for a significant Auckland property developer on all aspects of their property portfolio. The role included purchasing assets, negotiating sale contracts and bespoke office leases along with related documents and warranties for high value sales.
- Negotiating a development agreement and lease as tenant for a distribution centre for an international retailer’s New Zealand operations. The client also retained significant landholdings and Amy assisted with the management of this portfolio including acquisition and development of new retail centres, sales and lease backs and general legal support.
- Assisting an international investor with its acquisition of a shopping centre for about $90M. Amy assisted with due diligence, capex issues, warranties and attending to settlement. Following the acquisition Amy carried out leasing work on behalf of the client as landlord.
