Enterprise NZ Trust

Many of our partners play a significant role in the community, participating at board level or indeed doing pro-bono work for worthwhile organizations.  Enterprise NZ Trust is one organisation that helps create tomorrow’s entrepreneurs.  Kensington Swan works closely with ENZT to cultivate a growing understanding of the value of enterprise for young people of New Zealand.  Business Development Director Caroline Steele recognises this support.

“Enterprise New Zealand Trust is fortunate to be supported by a high calibre Board of Trustees that have strong philosophical belief in enterprise education.  Kensington Swan partner, Bryan Gundersen is one such board member and we are grateful for the work that Bryan does, and his advice behind the scene.  He is invaluable”

Trash to Fashion

Kensington Swan is proud to be long term supporters of Waitakere City Council’s Trash to Fashion.  We annually sponsor the ‘All Black Glamour’ category.  Judges looked for frocks and shocks that were drop dead gorgeous and All Black.  As a New Zealand firm we are proud to be associated with such a growing phenomenon that celebrates, arts, fashion and performance, based around the ethics of recycling and reducing waste.

The New Zealand Institute

As a leading New Zealand law firm we have a strong interest in making New Zealand the best place to live and do business in and with.  In regard to this we are proud to have our Chairman, Clayton Kimpton, on the board of The New Zealand Institute.  The New Zealand Institute is a privately funded think-tank that is committed to generating new and creative debate, ideas, and solutions that contribute to building a better and more prosperous New Zealand for all New Zealanders.

“I believe that as lawyers, our people can use their influence to make a positive difference to our economy, environment and future”

Lyall Bay Reef Charitable Trust

Kensington Swan seeks to add value to the communities in which we service.  Our Wellington Tax partner, Tony Lines is chairman of the Lyall Bay Reef Trust which is endeavouring to add a sporting facility to the city – adding to Wellington’s reputation as a creative and innovative city.  The artificial reef uses innovative New Zealand technology, developed by Raglan company ASR, to enhance the surfing opportunities in Wellington and provide a catalyst for revitalization of Lyall Bay.
