Pam joined Kensington Swan in October 2000 and is a registered legal executive in the firm’s Property team. Pam is also the leader of the firm’s Legal Executive Team.
 

Pam commenced her career as a legal secretary in Central Otago in 1981 and working in a general practice gained vast experience in many areas of law. She was trained to carry out legal executive duties from the very outset. In 1984 she left for her OE to England and worked as a legal secretary in London in many areas of the law - property (both residential and commercial), maritime, immigration, intellectual property, company, estates and wills.
  

She returned to Central Otago in 1987 to work for a law firm which encouraged her to complete the New Zealand Law Society’s Legal Executive Certificate. Pam qualified in 1990 and has brought to Kensington Swan many years of experience in general practice.
  

At Kensington Swan, Pam specialises in the following areas: 
  

*Property sales and purchases.

*Subdivisions.

*Retirement village work.

*Trusts and Estates.
 

Pam’s main client is Ryman Healthcare Limited and she undertakes the legal work for the sale and purchase of the units at Malvina Major Retirement Village, Shona McFarlane Retirement Village and Rita Angus Retirement Village, the 3 Wellington villages owned by the Group.  
 

She undertakes subdivision work and sales for several developer clients.
  

Pam has been responsible for overseeing the introduction of Landonline e-dealing to the firm including establishing firm protocols and training the staff.
 

Pam is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives and is authorised to take statutory declarations. Pam is the President of the Wellington Branch and is also on the National Council.
