Quentin specialises in all aspects of strategic sourcing - particularly outsourcing, procurement and supply-chain management issues. His focus is on linking these processes into the overall strategy for the organisation. This ensures that the models and structures are optimised to deliver efficient, effective and transparent results, and actually do deliver the business benefits or gains expected.

His expertise includes establishing procurement structures and models for varying global organisations – regularly advising in the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Hong Kong, India, UK and New Zealand.

Quentin has a great deal of international technology experience, having previously worked as in-house counsel for IBM and in the UK (as a senior technology lawyer working predominantly with EDS and Accenture), as well as working on many global strategic initiatives for clients while in Australia, and several offshore projects.  He is currently the strategic advisor to several large corporations in respect of large scale or complex IT projects, procurement models and is heavily involved in the telco sector.

He has been involved in some of the largest and most complex technology projects - including ITO and BPO outsourcing, multi-vendor sourcing, systems integration, multi-national offshore software development and creating strategic sourcing models.

He is co-author of the book ‘Mallesons on outsourcing’ and a regular commentator and presenter, including on topics relating to multi-sourcing governance and creation of alternative community-based sourcing models.
