Martin Dalgleish has 20 years experience in advising clients on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate law.  Martin focuses on delivering the desired commercial outcomes for the client and assists in developing commercial strategy.

Martin specialises in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and corporate law.  Martin leads the M&A team in Wellington.  Martin has advised a number of New Zealand and overseas listed companies and other significant corporations and organisations. 

 

Joint Ventures and Strategic Alliances

Martin has advised both minority and majority positions and understands the need to conclude a joint venture agreement which recognises the commercial strengths and weaknesses of the respective parties.  Establishing the right overall corporate structure is very important to the success of a joint venture or strategic alliance.

Martin’s experience in the public sector ensures understanding of government processes and requirements which may impact on commercial and corporate legal advice.  Martin has advised various statutory corporations, Government departments and other Crown entities.
