Grant acts for local authority and
developer clients on a variety of local government and resource
management matters, including:
 Local
government strategic decision making.
Local
government funding, elections, bylaws and official information.
Local
and regional planning and policy-making.
Resource
and subdivision consents.
Building
Act and Public Works Act matters.
Maori
and iwi local government consultation.
Prior to joining Kensington Swan, Grant worked as a Senior Manager in
strategic, economic development and environmental roles at both Auckland and Manukau City Councils, giving him an excellent
understanding of the local government environment.
Grant also has a PhD in Law from Auckland University
on the Local Government Act 2002.
