Gaylene
joined Kensington Swan’s Corporate Advisory team in 2005 while
completing her law degree.
She has experience in various areas
of corporate and commercial law, including advising on:
 All
aspects of company law, company formation, administration and
secretarial matters
Mergers
and acquisitions, including due diligence matters, drafting,
reviewing and negotiating agreements for sale and purchase and
transactional documentation
Drafting
and reviewing commercial contracts including supply agreements,
shareholders’ agreements and terms of trade
Restructuring
and insolvency related matters
Consumer
law and compliance matters, including the application of the Fair
Trading Act and Consumer Guarantees Act
Advertising
law, sales promotions and competitions
Securities
law, managed funds and capital markets, including compliance and
disclosure requirements
Assisting
on technology and outsourcing transactions and commercial
procurements.
Gaylene was seconded to Goldman
Sachs JBWere for a period of four months in 2006, to assist the
General Counsel and Compliance Manager.
