Emma is a member of Kensington Swan's Disputes Resolution team and
her areas of practice include general commercial litigation,
professional indemnity insurance and insolvency law. She has been
involved in a wide range of matters, advising clients based in New Zealand
and overseas.
Within her
experience, Emma has acted as counsel for significant trust companies
whilst practising overseas in Guernsey,
The Channel Islands where she worked for a highly reputable law firm
in relation to matters concerning offshore jurisdiction.
Emma has
also significant legal experience working for a well established and
highly reputable law firm in England,
United Kingdom.
It is here that she gained considerable experience in general
commercial litigation and all contentious employment related issues.
She has presented at many seminars, advising on updates and changes
to legislation.
Emma has
appeared before various Courts and Tribunals. Emma has conducted
trials in Employment Relations and Employment Appeal Tribunals,
District Court, High Court and appeals to the Court of Appeal. She
has also assisted in preparation of matters to the Supreme Court.
Emma has also conducted trials in the Royal Court of Guernsey,
