Ema is a solicitor who specialises in commercial Intellectual Property Law. She joined Kensington Swan in mid 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Ema worked for a number of years for a boutique intellectual property firm with a diverse range of clients, including a number of start-up New Zealand companies.

 

Ema provides advice to local and international organisations concerning the availability and registrability of their trade marks in New Zealand, Australia and overseas.  She assists with the protection, enforcement and licensing of trade marks rights in New Zealand, Australia and overseas, and manages clients’ trade mark portfolios, including renewal of their registrations.

 

Ema also undertakes work in the areas of Copyright protection and infringement, and provides advice about domain names and domain name disputes.
