Bridget is a senior associate in Kensington Swan’s Government
and Regulatory team.
Bridget has particular expertise in
the interface between public and private interests, and regularly
advises government departments, Crown Entities, statutory bodies and
private organisations on both public law and dispute resolution
issues.
She has appeared in the High Court,
Court of Appeal, District Court and Waitangi Tribunal, and also has
experience in other forms of dispute resolution.
Bridget’s recent work

proceedings from the decision stage through to the decision being
tested in the appellate Courts
declaratory
judgment proceedings relating to the interpretation of contracts
(including standard terms and conditions), statutes and leases
reviewing
government department contracts with a particular focus on contracts
between departments and service providers

Information and Privacy Act advice to both private organisations and
government departments
general commercial litigation
in a variety of jurisdictions from District Court to Court of Appeal,
including interlocutory and substantive hearings
advice on resource management
issues, including acting as counsel on resource consent and Plan
Change appeals
censorship advice
