David is a Partner specialising in commercial and civil
litigation.
Before joining
Kensington Swan, David worked in London in the commercial and civil
litigation fields and focussed particularly on defamation litigation.
David is
experienced in resolving a wide variety of disputes before courts,
tribunals, arbitrators and mediators.
In addition to the
practice areas noted, David also has extensive expertise in resolving
disputes involving commercial property, prejudiced shareholders,
directors’ duties and confidential information.
He has
particular expertise in assisting clients who require emergency relief
from the courts. In this area he has successfully acted in
relation to many search orders, freezing injunctions, mandatory
injunctions and restraints of trade.
David is the
author of the Brookers text, “Civil Litigation Practice and Procedure”.
