Tony has been identified by Legal500.com as one of the leading tax lawyers in New Zealand and he has specialised in advising clients on tax, GST and related issues for more than 20 years.

He is an expert on the taxation (both income tax and GST) of managed funds, superannuation and insurance products, has worked closely with a merchant bank on structured debt and equity transactions, and assisted with many business acquisitions and divestments.

Tony leads Kensington Swan’s national tax team, and has presented many seminars and written numerous articles on taxation issues. He is a long standing member of the Tax Committee of the Investment Savings and Insurance Association of New Zealand Inc. (ISI).
