Andrew has 18 years experience as a commercial
litigator and is an expert in the following areas:
Major contract and joint venture disputes
International and domestic arbitrations
Building and construction contract disputes
Telecommunications and IT contract disputes
Property/leasing litigation
Insurance litigation
Professional disciplinary prosecutions
Judicial review
Andrew has appeared as counsel in
the District Court, High Court and Court of Appeal and before
specialist tribunals. He also has significant experience in various
forms of alternative dispute resolution, in particular arbitration
and mediation and is a LEADR qualified mediator.
Andrew regularly presents seminars
and has articles published in his areas of expertise. He is the
author of Restitution and Contract
published by Mansfield Press, Oxford
in 1998.
Andrew has been a Faculty Member of
the New Zealand Law Society Litigation Skills Course for the last
five years.
